Getting the prescription is not the hard part.

Weight-loss medication is widely available now. What Reforge adds is everything around it: blood work before anything starts, a medical director who reviews it, and a person in front of you every week after that.

The medication is the easy part. The follow-up is the program.

Your blood work comes first and the medical director reviews it. If the program is not appropriate for you, you are told that plainly. If it is, you come into the clinic every week: your progress is recorded, your treatment is adjusted to how you are actually responding, and you can ask a question the same week you thought of it.

It is a more deliberate start. It is also what lets the program change course when your body does.

Who is actually looking at your results.

You should know who evaluates you and who signs off on your labs before you pay for anything.

The medical director

Lab review and eligibility

An off-site medical director reviews your lab work and confirms your eligibility before treatment begins.

Six steps, in order.

Nothing starts until your labs have been reviewed and you have been cleared.

01

The free consultation

About 45 minutes, at no cost. Your history, what you have already tried, your goals, and exactly how the program runs. Nothing is prescribed in this appointment.

02

Lab work

Blood work is drawn so your results can be reviewed. This is usually its own short visit rather than part of the consultation.

03

The medical director reviews it

Your results go to the medical director, who reviews them along with your eligibility for the program.

04

You are either cleared, or you are not

If the program is appropriate for you, you are cleared to begin. This is a medical decision and it is not automatic. If it is not the right fit, we say so.

05

First treatment, in the clinic

Your first treatment is given here. Plan for a longer appointment than your weekly visits, because there is more to go through.

06

Every week after that

You come in weekly. Progress is recorded, nutrition and hydration are part of the conversation, and your treatment is adjusted to how you are responding rather than to a fixed schedule.

How long you stay on the program depends on your goals and how you respond. There is no fixed course and no end date decided in advance.

Price is the first question, so here is the honest shape of it.

Your monthly cost moves with your treatment. It is not one flat number that applies to everyone, and it is not a price rise applied for its own sake.

A prepared, unoccupied treatment room at Reforge Med Spa, with a treatment bed and equipment cart.

A treatment room, prepared and unoccupied. This is where the weekly visits happen.

What people ask before they book.

These are the questions Reforge actually gets. Where the honest answer belongs to a provider rather than a website, it says so.

Is the program medically supervised?

Yes. A medical director reviews your lab work and confirms whether the program is appropriate for you before treatment begins, and you are seen in the clinic weekly after that. Injections are given here rather than shipped to you.

What happens at the free consultation?

It runs about 45 minutes and costs nothing. You go through your history, what you have tried before, your goals, and how the program works. Nothing is prescribed or decided in that appointment.

How often would I come in?

Weekly. In-person weekly visits are how your progress gets monitored and how your treatment gets adjusted.

Are labs required?

Yes. Blood work is part of getting started, and your results are reviewed before you are cleared to begin. The lab and exam are billed separately, and the fee is confirmed at your consultation.

How long does the program take?

It depends on your goals and how you respond. There is no fixed course and no end date set in advance. Your consultation is the place to get a realistic picture for your situation.

What if I have used weight-loss medication before?

Say so at your consultation. You may not start where a new patient starts. Your evaluation may place you at a different dose, and your cost can be different as a result.

What medication do you use?

A provider covers this at your consultation, where it can be answered properly for your situation.

When might I start seeing changes?

This is an individual question, and the right person to answer it is a provider who has seen your evaluation. Bring it to your free consultation.

What side effects should I discuss with the provider?

Bring anything you notice to your provider, including at your weekly visits. A website is not the place to get medical advice about symptoms, and being able to ask as things come up is part of why the program includes weekly contact.

What happens when treatment ends?

Ask at your consultation how the end of the program is handled, so you know before you start.

Do you accept insurance?

Ask at your consultation. Payment arrangements, including financing through Cherry, are explained there.
